Lucia Crossley is the Executive Director for IMPACT Community Development Corporation (IMPACT CDC). IMPACT CDC is dedicated to building sustainable communities and serves to expand the outreach of Christ Church through social and educational programs and services.
Lucia has an extensive corporate background and has also served as an established leader in community development for non-profit organizations, public policy and advocacy. For a period of more than five years at Seton Hall University Institute on Work she served in multiple capacities: Director of a statewide Faith-Based Research Project Business Development Specialist providing business development training and consultation to community-based and faith-based organizations throughout the State of New Jersey
Director of Community Development facilitating linkages and helping to develop programmatic initiatives with corporations, foundations, and public school districts.
Previously she served as Program Director for the W.E.B. DuBois Scholars Institute located at Princeton University. There she managed and provided oversight for leadership and entrepreneurship programs designed for high achieving African American and Latino American youth.
She also had the opportunity to work as the Director of Summer Institutes for Project GRAD Newark an initiative Funded by the Ford Foundation and Lucent Technologies, where she managed and lead the planning and design for academic college summer enrichment experiences on eight college campuses throughout the state for 1600 high school students from Newark, New Jersey.
She was Administrative Director for the Newark in the 21st Century Task Force, located at Seton hall Law School, serving a 21 member board and of directors and funders.

Lucia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Rochester and is in pursuit of a master degree in Education Leadership and Supervision from Seton Hall University. |
