IMPACT Community Development Corporation's (IMPACT CDC) vision for five community minded programs to touch young and old, and bring compassionate aid to the present and hope for the future. There is an ever growing need for our services to expand and our programs to reach more of the population. Operating such comprehensive programs require time, energetic commitment and resources both financial and material. As a non profit organization our programs are predominantly grant driven primarily from the government, business and private sectors.
Your support is critical to IMPACT CDC's continued growth and there are many ways you can help: by volunteering services (learn more), giving in-kind gifts (learn more), providing monthly cash donation support (learn more) and/or becoming a Major Gift Donor.
IMPACT CDC's priorities for 2007 are:
$1.2M - Continue and expand the Winners Wait Program and bring it to more school districts (learn more). $0.5M - Offer the Youth Leadership Institute to all students in Essex and Morris counties (learn more). $0.2M - Expand the Emerging Leaders Program (learn more). $0.2M - Expand the Peer Leadership Initiative Program (learn more). $15M - Complete the purchase/renovations of the Abigail Project Transitional Living Facility (learn more) so that we can begin accepting women and their children.open its doors early in 2007.

Outright Gifts The most common and easiest way to make a gift is by cash, check or credit card. Cash can be brought in person and checks can be mailed to IMPACT Community Development Corporation, 96 Pompton Avenue, Verona, NJ 07044. To make a gift by credit card, please call the office during regular business hours at 973-857-8533.
Real Estate Gifts of real estate may provide tax deductions and avoid additional taxes. Always consult your financial advisor or legal counsel with questions about your personal tax situation. For more information, please contact the Operations Manager at 973-857-8533 ext. 366.
Securities Appreciated stock represents the transfer of stock at its current market value, which provides a potential charitable gift deduction as well as a reduction in what is owed in capital gains tax. Please contact the Operations Manager at 973-857-8533 ext. 366 for specific instructions on mailing your stock certificate and stock power, if applicable.
Life Insurance You may designate IMPACT Community Development Corporation as beneficiary and you may be entitled to tax deductions related to the policy's cash value and/or premiums.
Retirement Plan Benefits IMPACT Community Development Corporation may be named as a death beneficiary for your retirement plan and/or IRA account. This may reduce future income and estate taxes.
Charitable Trust Funds Depending on the type of trust, you can provide for regular distribution to IMPACT Community Development Corporation for a certain number of years of lifetime(s), or for an ultimate distribution when the trust is terminated. You may be eligible for tax deductions based on the present value of the future distributions to IMPACT CDC.
